All about ShebaMiles Silver
As a ShebaMiles Silver member, you will have access to a range of benefits that make your travel experience more enjoyable.
You will reach ShebaMiles Silver tier level when you earn 25,000 Status Miles with Ethiopian or Star Alliance member airlines or when you collect 25 Qualifying Segments within one program calendar year which is from January 1st to December 31st. Once qualified, your Silver membership will continue for the rest of the program calendar year plus the next twelve months.
Remember to register your ShebaMiles membership number on each booking to earn Status Miles and maximize your benefits.
Star Alliance Benefits
The ShebaMiles Silver tier is equivalent to the Star Alliance Silver tier – that’s why your ShebaMiles Silver membership card bears the Star Alliance Silver badge. You will receive all the Star Alliance Silver benefits when you fly on all Star Alliance member airlines.

Maintain Your Current Tier
You’ll maintain your Silver tier when you earn 25,000 Status Miles or collect 25 Qualifying Segments with Ethiopian or Star Alliance member airline flights during your tracking period which is from January 1st to December 31st. If you don’t have enough Status Miles to renew your Silver membership by the end of your tracking period, you can make up the difference by exchanging some of your Award Miles for Status Miles.
In case you cannot get enough Status Miles or Qualifying Segments to remain a Silver member, you will become a Blue member again.

Next Stop Gold
As a Silver member, you can move up to the ShebaMiles Gold tier status once you have collected 50,000 Status Miles or taken 50 tier Qualifying Segments. Your new Gold tier status will then appear in your digital card and you can start using the Gold tier benefits immediately. Your Gold membership will continue for the rest of program calendar year after qualification plus the next twelve months.

You can move up to the ShebaMiles Platinum tier when you earn 100,000 Status Miles or collect 80 Qualifying Segments with Ethiopian or Star Alliance member airline flights during your tracking period which is from January 1st to December 31st. Once qualified, your Platinum membership will continue for the rest of the program calendar year plus the next twenty-four months.
