Now it’s easy for you to earn ShebaMiles for your stays at hotels and resorts participating in the Marriott Bonvoy program*.

If you prefer to earn ShebaMiles rather than Marriott Bonvoy points, please follow these steps:

• Join now or sign in to your Marriott Bonvoy membership account.
• Select “Profile”.
• Click “Edit” within “Earning Preferences”.
• Select Miles as your preferred currency.
• Choose “Ethiopian Airlines” and enter your ShebaMiles membership number.
• Click “Submit”.

Missing Miles

If it has been more than 10 business days following a Completed Stay and Marriott Bonvoy® Points or Miles are missing from your Account, please submit a Missing Stay Request.

Important Notes

• You must enroll into the Marriott Bonvoy® programme and have your earning preference set to “Miles” before your first stay to ensure that you will earn ShebaMiles Miles for that stay.
• As a Marriott Bonvoy® member you must agree to the Marriott Bonvoy® programme Terms and Conditions.
• Miles are earned based on spend at the hotel. Charges which do not qualify for Miles include taxes applied to the room rate, paid outs, purchase of Marriott gift certificates, charges for Marriott contracting services and catering or banquet functions charged to the guest room account.
• Miles accrual is limited to individual travel. If a ShebaMiles member attends a convention or group meeting and individually pays Marriott directly for the room, the member will be eligible to receive Miles for the stay. However, contract rooms, rooms reserved by corporations on an ongoing basis, master-billed rooms and rooms booked at the Marriott associate rates are not eligible to earn miles. Miles earned from room contracts or military rates at certain overseas locations are subject to local restrictions and may be ineligible for credit.
• Wholesale packages and series tours booked through a travel agent are not eligible for points.
• All miles are earned based on spend at the hotel. Terms and conditions are subject to change.

• Miles earned from this partner will be credited as Award Miles to the member’s account and will not be counted as Status Miles or Qualifying segment towards tier qualification.

Conversion of Marriott Bonvoy points to ShebaMiles

• You can convert a minimum of 3,000 and maximum of 240,000 Marriott Bonvoy points per day.
• After successful conversion of Marriott Bonvoy points, it may take up to 48 Hours for the points to reflect in your ShebaMiles account.
• Your name in your Marriott Bonvoy membership account must match your ShebaMiles membership details to ensure successful conversions.
• Marriott Bonvoy points once converted to ShebaMiles cannot be reversed.
